Morah Ronielle Berman

Co-Teacher
3s
White Plains

Ronielle is a teacher in one of our White Plains 3s classes. She recently moved from Israel to White Plains with her husband, Rami, and their two children, Hila and Liam, who also attend Alef Bet. Ronielle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Tel Aviv University and has experience working with children, families, teenagers, seniors, and communities. During her service in the Israeli army, she worked with young adults on the autism spectrum. As a teenager, Ronielle worked in after-school programs with preschool age chidren. She was also a youth leader in the religious Scouts, where she guided children of different ages, including children with special needs.
Ronielle has loved spending time with and being around children for as long as she can remember. She believes that every child is a whole world of their own, and that children thrive when they are given an environment that supports and challenges them while allowing them the space to develop at their own pace. She values getting to know each child as an individual and partnering with parents to understand the whole child and provide the support they need. Outside of the classroom, Ronielle loves hiking (and even completed the entire Israel National Trail!), dancing, and cooking. She is very excited to join the Alef Bet team—to play, laugh, teach, and learn alongside the children, because she believes children have so much to teach us when we take the time to listen.
